Latin Routes adds Guatemala to destination portfolio

Latin Routes has introduced Guatemala to its destination portfolio and aims to offer all of Central America by the end of this year.

The tour operator has brought out three itineraries featuring the destination, which follows the recent addition of Belize to the product range.

By the end of this year, Latin Routes is also aiming to have Honduras, Nicaragua and El Salvador as part of its portfolio.

The new itineraries include the 18-day Route of the Maya, priced from £7,399. which combines Guatemala, Belize and Mexico, which explores ancient archaeological sites, lakes and culture.

The other new itineraries are the 10-day Highlights of Guatemala and 13-day Guatemala Explorer, which feature the history and culture of the destination.

Senior product manager Cat Davies said: “Guatemala is known for its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and ancient Maya ruins, and offers clients a unique and unforgettable holiday experience.

“It is also the perfect complement to our recent addition of Belize, allowing clients to explore the vibrant culture and natural beauty of several Central America destinations in one trip.”
