This immediately transported me back to my office in Philly, before we went remote. If I had a really bad day at work I would go to my favorite lunch spot and get a slice of white pizza with thinly sliced fresh tomatoes on top, and a fountain coke. It tasted like being on a Jersey shore boardwalk so my mood always improved.
My daily mini vacation is walking my dog while listening to a funny podcast. My favorite right now is All Fantasy Everything, a group of comedian friends and guests fantasy draft topics like “words that make you sound smart”, “Disney songs”, “bald people” etc.
Also, my favorite regency era books are The Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas and the Union of the Rakes series by Eva Leigh, in case anyone needs to feed their soul with romance and a little smut.
