At Power Living we teach modern transformational yoga – yoga that inspires students to practice in a powerful way. Over time, it offers the opportunity to transform our physical and mental wellbeing.

We’ve outlined what we offer and what makes a Power Living yoga class unique! Whether you are brand new to hot yoga or have been practicing for decades, you’ll walk out of our studios feeling challenged, more connected to your body and breath, and more at peace than when you arrived.

Vinyasa-Heated

Expect a dynamic, intense, sweaty flow! This is our signature Vinyasa hot yoga class, with the room heated to 30 degrees. As we start to flow, we move with one breath, one movement. It is a powerful class that when practiced consistently, offers incredible benefits for body, mind, and soul. Our intelligent sequencing ensures our classes are balanced and intentional, allowing our students to keep learning and growing no matter where they are on their yoga journey.

Vinyasa-Non Heated

The same expressive, flowing Vinyasa class we all love, without the added intensity of the heaters! Both our Vinyasa Heated and Non-Heated classes offer creative sequencing, anatomical focus areas, and traditional yoga philosophy woven throughout.

Yin

Yin is a beautiful balance to our challenging Vinyasa classes. Vinyasa focuses on strengthening the muscles and getting the blood moving vigorously through the body. In comparison, Yin targets our dense connective tissue – fascia, ligaments, tendons, and joints. In most yin poses we aim to completely relax our muscles so that our deeper fascial tissue can receive the benefits. If you can surrender yourself to hold the poses, you will be able to find depth in this gentle and slow yoga. It is a soothing and calming practice and an excellent gateway to meditation!

All of our yoga classes are an open level unless otherwise specified, so the teacher will give different variations of poses so that newcomers and experienced students are all catered for. If you are new to yoga, listen out for the modification of poses. We encourage students to pay careful attention to their bodies and take rest whenever they need!

Feel free to chat to our teachers and staff the next time you’re in studio! We can’t wait to keep learning and growing on the mat with our ever-growing community of teachers and students!
