MSC Cruises recruits new regional sales manager
Rachel Small brings ‘wealth of experience and knowledge’
MSC Cruises has recruited Rachel Small as its new regional sales manager covering the Midlands and central regions of England.
Small has more than 18 years’ account management experience having previously worked at Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays.
Steve Williams, director of sales, said Small was “a valuable asset” as MSC looks to widen its distribution.

He said: “We are thrilled Rachel is joining MSC Cruises as she has a proven track record in account management.
“Her wealth of experience and knowledge managing high street partners, homeworkers, consortia members in the leisure airline sector will prove invaluable as we continue to rapidly grow our own footprint and grow our own distribution.
Head of retail Alyshia Jay Bartlett took up her role in March following a sales team restructure after the departure of Andrea Stafford to Scenic.
Bartlett, who has been at MSC Cruises for more than seven years, said: “Rachel joins us at such a critical time as the cruise industry bounces back.
“MSC Cruises is building on the huge success of last year’s season with MSC Virtuosa. This year is already breaking records in terms of sales particularly around are ex-UK offerings on MSC Virtuosa, MSC Preziosa and MSC Grandiosa.
“Her vast experience in account management will be a great asset to the regional sales team.”
Small (pictured) said she was “extremely grateful” to be given the chance to “broaden” her career into the cruise sector.
“I cannot wait to get back out on the road to support the trade and selling an amazing brand,” she added.
