MSC Cruises to overhaul agent training platform
New modules to be added to MSC Masters
MSC Cruises is to relaunch its trade training platform, MSC Masters, next month and roll out new modules on MSC Virtuosa and soon-to-launch ship MSC World Europa.
The first module will cover MSC Virtuosa (pictured), which operated British Isles sailings over the summer and is repositioning to the Middle East next month.
Pricing, luxury onboard area MSC Yacht Club, the line’s health and safety policies and destinations will be covered in other modules.
Existing modules on the training platform have been updated to give them “a fresh feel, and reflect the latest trends and travel updates”.
Each module is designed to take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Agents who complete all the modules will receive a MSC Masters certificate signed by the line’s UK and Ireland managing director Antonio Paradiso.
Sales director Steve Williams said the line’s main goal was to support agents with the information they needed to sell MSC cruises.
“There are so many people who have been furloughed or changed businesses or not sold a cruise in 18 months,” he said. “What a great opportunity to refresh skills in the run up to what we hope will be a really successful wave season in January 2022.”
The line launched MSC Masters in 2018 ahead of the christening of MSC Bellissima in March 2019.
