My Go-To Place for Holiday Gifts

Where do you look for cool, unusual, design-y gifts for family and friends? Every year, I turn to MoMa Design Store for loved ones on my list. Here’s what the boys and I are excited to give this year…

We give special ornaments to our closet relatives every year, and MoMa has really fun ones — like, a juicy burger, classic coffee cup, pastrami sandwich, and well-traveled suitcase.

For friends who entertain a lot, I’d love to wrap up colorful wine glasses or striped napkins for a gorgeous year-round table setting. And for people who like cheese (who doesn’t?), how great — and handy — are these colorblock cheese knives?

The Yankees broke our hearts this year, but I’m still coveting this baseball cap — that kelly green! I’d give it to a lucky friend, along with a MoMA annual membership tucked inside a pop-up holiday card. This one would look beautiful on the mantelpiece.

For cozying up all season, how sweet is this porcelain milk pan? It’s the perfect size to warm up cocoa or tea. And this set of playful mugs would add cheer to knock-around winter mornings.

Finally, how adorable is this 3D dog calendar? There’s a different dog for each month — 11-year-old Anton would be so happy to unwrap this.
