Norse Atlantic’s Gatwick-NY service takes off
Budget carrier also launches flights to Oslo
Norse Atlantic Airways marked its inaugural flight between Gatwick and New York JFK airports on Friday (August 12).
Fares for the daily Boeing 787 Dreamliner service to New York start from £357 return and there are two cabin choices: Economy and Premium.
Friday also saw the budget long-haul carrier launch flights between Gatwick and Oslo.
The daily service to Oslo is also operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliners offering Premium and Economy cabins. Return fares to Oslo are available from £74.
UK travellers can also connect via Oslo to Norse services to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Los Angeles.
Bjorn Tore Larsen, chief executive of Norse Atlantic Airways, said: “We are very pleased to now be able to welcome customers at London Gatwick on board our Boeing 787 Dreamliners to New York and Oslo.”

The start-up airline’s first flight took off from Oslo to New York on June 14, and other US destinations will be announced soon.
