Norwegian Cruise Line promotes Kirsty Webb to director of strategic accounts
Sales team changes aimed at supporting growth plans in UK and Ireland

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has promoted Kirsty Webb within its sales team to the role of director of strategic accounts and also plans to hire an additional agent-facing staff member.
Webb, who moves from her previous role as senior business development manager for the cruise specialist channel, will lead NCL’s relationship with a portfolio of key accounts while taking responsibility for the team of business development managers.
The cruise line will also be creating a new regional sales executive role focused on Scotland and the northeast. The position will report into Nigel Rankin, head of retail and field sales.

Gary Anslow, NCL vice-president and head of UK and Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to announce Kirsty’s new role, which will support our growth plans across the UK and Ireland, and the upweight of our resource in Nigel’s team, which will deepen our footprint in Scotland and the northeast.
“We know that walking through doors on a consistent basis supports agents in growing their sales.
“The UK and Ireland is NCL’s biggest market outside North America and the travel trade is critical to our success as we materially expand our fleet.”
More than 1,200 agents from the UK and Ireland will be hosted on the inaugural sailing of Norwegian Aqua later this month.
Norwegian Aqua will be followed by the fourth Prima Class ship, Norwegian Luna, in April 2026, with two Prima Plus Class ships joining the fleet in 2027 and 2028.
NCL recently confirmed four ships would launch in a brand-new class between 2030 and 2038.
