Outstanding Visits and Public Talks in North America
During the first weeks of September in North America, four centers organized prominent public talks about emptiness, happiness, and well-being. Here we feature KMC-DC (Washington), Je Tsongkhapa KBC in Pachuca, KMC Ottawa's visit to Quebec, and KMC Merida.

TALK "LOVE WITHOUT PAIN" WITH GEN CHIME IN KMC MERIDA
Last week more than 100 people joined us for the talk: Love Without Pain given by our Resident Teacher, Gen Chime.
We learned that we are responsible for our own happiness, and that no one can make us happy because happiness depends on our peace of mind. Love is a virtuous mind and when we love others we will enjoy a peaceful and happy mind. We have to distinguish love from attachment because the latter only causes problems and suffering and we have to remove it from our mind.
Thank you to all who attended and to the wonderful team of volunteers who lovingly and generously made this event possible. We hope that Buddha's advice we received last night will help us all to have more loving, attachment-free relationships.
May the precious Dharma Kadam continue to flourish on the Yucatán Peninsula.
