Nahnatchka Khan is staying busy. The “Always Be My Maybe” helmer is teaming up with “Will & Grace” alumna Sally Bradford McKenna– together they’re developing a new comedy series, “Laid,” at Peacock. According to Deadline, the project is based on an Australian series of the same name which premiered in 2011 and aired for two seasons.

Khan and Bradford McKenna are writing and exec producing the series, which  focuses on a woman who “finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways [and] must come to terms with her complicated past.”

Perhaps best known for ABC sitcoms “Fresh Off the Boat” and “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23,” Khan has since co-created and exec produced “Young Rock,” and directed her “Always Be My Maybe” star Ali Wong’s comedy special, “Ali Wong: Don Wong.” Her upcoming releases include slasher comedy feature “Totally Killer” from Amazon Studios and Blumhouse, which she is directing. She was nominated for two Emmys for her work on animated show “American Dad.”

Bradford McKenna earned an Emmy nom for “Will & Grace,” and has since co-exec produced and written for shows “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23,” “The Goldbergs,” and “Ghosted.”
