RateHawk signs commercial deal with The Travel Network Group
Accommodation provider to be sold by more than 1,100 consortium members
Accommodation-only provider RateHawk has signed a commercial agreement to work with The Travel Network Group as it looks to increase sales through the trade.
The online platform for booking hotels, air tickets and car rental will now be sold through TTNG’s network of more than 1,100 independent agents and tour operators in the UK.
TTNG members will have access to RateHawk’s global portfolio of more than 2.6 million hotels, apartments, villas and other accommodation options.
Head of business development UK & Ireland Chantal Tomlinson said: “We are delighted to partner with The Travel Network Group. This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to equipping travel professionals with the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly competitive market.”
She said RateHawk would play a “pivotal role” in enabling agents to offer “curated accommodation selections” and value as outbound and domestic travel continues to enjoy “unprecedented growth”.
“It is crucial for travel agents to stay aligned with these trends and meet the evolving needs of their clients,” she added.
TTNG commercial director Katharina Peck welcomed the deal, saying: “Our collaboration with RateHawk aligns with our commitment to bringing continuous valuable resources to our members.
“This partnership will support our members’ growth, enabling them to deliver memorable travel experiences to their customers.”
RateHawk consolidates its hotel stock from more than 280 global suppliers and has more than 100,000 directly contracted accommodations.
Over the past year, it has added 70 new suppliers and more than 30,000 additional accommodations to its system.
The company indicated at the end of this summer it was close to signing up a number of agency groups and consortia.
