Registrations for Abta’s Travel Convention to open

Registrations will open for Abta’s Travel Convention in Turkey on Wednesday.
The event will take place from October 30 to November 1 at the Lujo Hotel in Bodrum and a discounted early bird rate will be available for a limited time for Abta members, partners and other delegates.
Headline partners for this year’s convention are Avis Budget Group, Global, Intrepid Travel, Royal Caribbean International and Universal Partners, while Travel Weekly will once again be trade media partner.
Speaking in a convention e-news update, Intrepid’s UK & Ireland general manager Hazel McGuire said: “Intrepid is excited to be a headline partner of The Travel Convention. The convention is one of the most anticipated events in the travel calendar and an important time for trade partners and friends to connect and discuss the issues and opportunities facing our industry right now and in the future.
“Türkiye is a particularly special destination for us. Our founders wrote their first business plan for Intrepid there, it became the company’s second destination to offer trips in 1990 and a Turkish mosque features in our logo.”
Those signing up to attend the convention are being encouraged to support the Intrepid Foundation’s Earthquake Appeal, which was set up following the devastating quakes which hit southern Turkey and Syria in February.
