Move comes as airline targets growth in corporate travel

Ryanair flights go live on Amadeus booking platform

Thousands of Ryanair flights can now be booked for business travellers on the Amadeus platform.

The low-fare airline revealed last year that the partnership had been agreed – and today (May 18) it announced that more than 3,000 flights to about 235 destinations have gone live.

Ryanair’s marketing and digital director, Dara Brady, said he was “pleased” with the development, adding: “We look forward to working with Amadeus over the coming years as Ryanair grows to carrying 225m passengers annually by 2026.”

Ryanair said the partnership will help businesses achieve affordable travel costs as in-person meetings become more frequent.

Jose-Luis Aragon, Amadeus’ regional vice-president for air distribution in Europe, said: “We are very happy that Ryanair has chosen to capitalise on Amadeus’ technology to support its distribution strategy.

“With the integration of its content to the Amadeus Travel Platform, travel sellers and corporations will have a broader choice of travel options while benefiting from smooth and seamless integration into their everyday tools and processes.”
