It is extraordinary that in these modern times we are still able to practice the original meaning exactly as Buddha explained. For us as Kadampas this is due solely to the kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and the extraordinary books he has provided us with through Tharpa Publications. Through his perfect and qualified explanations of the Perfection of Wisdom Sutras, he answers our questions about emptiness, shows us how to meditate correctly and guides us to use the teachings practically to find deep inner peace.
This Festival a new edition of The New Heart of Wisdom book is appearing, as well as a beautifully read audio recording of the book appearing for the first time ever. Throughout the Festival people enjoy visiting the Tharpa bookstore to pick up everything they need for their on-going spiritual practice, or to find meaningful gifts for others.
