British driving service business The AA has launched its latest marketing campaign, “It’s Ok, I’m With The AA”. The advertisements were developed by the creative agency The Gate, along with the media agency Goodstuff.
The summer advertisements feature videos of ordinary people going about their lives but with some car trouble. However, it’s nothing The AA can’t solve, as the solution always comes about in the end with the campaign’s tagline, “It’s ok, I’m with The AA.”
“It’s Ok, I’m With The AA” Hero Film
The campaign’s hero film, a 60-second video, presents four humorous scenarios in which The AA comes to the rescue. The first sees a father accidentally refuelling his car with the wrong fuel as his family waits excitedly for their holiday. “It’s ok, I’m with The AA,” he tells the cashier, defeated yet hopeful, knowing that The AA will take good care of it.
The second clip takes place in a doctor’s office, as a patient sits on the bed before a lit-up X-ray of car keys in his stomach. Even in such circumstances, one can leave it to The AA to lend a helping hand. The next clip is a playful romp between two lovers, paused by a spouse’s call of a flat tire. No matter, because “He’s with The AA.”
Besides the hero film, the campaign features a few shorter films. In one, a bank robbery goes awry when the getaway vehicle overheats. In another, a meteorite crashes into the family car. The AA also provides vehicle service and repairs, evident in a clip where hazard lights flash on the dashboard, prompting the driver to exclaim, “This is not a car, it’s a ruddy Christmas tree!”
No More Car Worries With The AA
Besides the hero film, the campaign features a few shorter films. In one, a bank robbery goes awry when the getaway vehicle overheats. In another, a meteorite crashes into the family car. The AA also provides vehicle service and repairs, evident in a clip where hazard lights flash on a car’s dashboard, prompting the driver to exclaim, “This is not a car, it’s a ruddy Christmas tree.”
Through these videos, The AA makes a point to be known that it will always have your back. Even during the most unexpected moments, motorists and drivers can trust The AA. The marketing campaign also debuts the brand’s latest slogan, ‘Always Ahead’, tying back to the brand’s initials.
