For years, March 10 has come with Nintendo fans dressing up for themed parties and playing their favorite Mario games. In 2016, Nintendo decided to officially adopt the celebration as Mario Day, according to Mario Wiki. For fans of the franchise, this year’s Mario Day comes with many activities, including some great deals on consoles and games. Here are our favorite ones.
Mario-theme Nintendo Switch Bundle
Nintendo released the Mario Choose One Bundle: a Switch console with a red Nintendo Switch Joy-Con and a choice of one of three games—Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. Each of the three games usually retails for $60 but are currently discounted to $40, and your game of choice will be digitally downloaded into your console. The bundle costs $300, which is what a Nintendo Switch usually costs, but this’ll come with a game included (and some “Super Mario Bros. Movie Sticker Sheets” tied to the movie set to release next month). You can buy the bundle at Nintendo or Best Buy on Mario Day.
