If you've done much international travel (insert obligatory ooh la la), you've undoubtedly run into one of the most frustrating snags of visiting a foreign country: weird plugs. Unfortunately, outlets/plugs overseas come in a dizzying array of shapes, sizes and configurations, and without the proper adapter you may find yourself stranded with a host of dead phones, laptops and tablets.
Worry not, however: Anker's here to save your precious trip, and save you from scrambling through stores you may not be familiar with (or fumbling in a language you barely speak) to buy an adapter of mysterious origins. Its excellent travel adapter is currently on sale for Prime Day, and at $19.99, it's a no-brainer purchase for something that can live forever in your travel bag. It can deliver up to 20W of power to a USB-C device; for reference, that's enough juice to charge up an iPhone 16 to 50% in just 28 minutes.
While many power adapters of this type only work for one specific conversion (say, U.S. to Europe, for instance), Anker's is a multi-adapter that will save you from having to fill a drawer with plugs from different countries. It works in over 200 countries, including the U.K., mainland Europe, and Australia. Even better, it comes with an array of USB ports, so you can charge up to five devices simultaneously. There are two USB-A and two USB-C ports, so the vast majority of devices will be compatible.
What do you think so far?
Be aware that this Anker model doesn't convert voltage, so make sure you're not pumping more power into your device than it can safely handle. Also, it's only compatible with two-prong plugs. On one hand, this is a boon, as it reduces shock risks associated with converting three-prong plugs to three-prong plugs, just be aware that any of your three-prong devices won't fit.
