Amazon’s early Labor Day 2026 sale has dropped the Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+ and Mini 2K+ bundle to $69.98 from $119.98, a discount of 42%. According to price trackers, that’s also the lowest price the bundle has reached so far. It’s a practical pairing if you want coverage at the front door and somewhere inside the house without buying two separate systems. The battery-powered doorbell can keep an eye on visitors and packages outside, while the Mini 2K+ works well for a hallway, living room, pet area, or anywhere else you want an indoor view.

The doorbell is built around a 2K, head-to-toe view, so you’re more likely to catch both a visitor’s face and a package left near the ground in the same frame. Two-way audio also gives you a way to respond when you’re elsewhere in the house or away from home. In its review of the Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+, PCMag specifically highlighted the improved resolution and broader framing. The Mini 2K+ also holds up well on its own: PCMag found the video sharp enough to call the camera an excellent value—it can also double as an indoor chime for the doorbell, so you’ll still hear when someone rings even if your phone isn’t nearby.

That said, while live view, motion alerts, and two-way talk work without a monthly fee, cloud recording and advanced detection features require a Blink subscription (starting at $3.99 per month for the Basic plan, which covers one device). The included Sync Module Core also doesn’t give you local storage by itself, although local recording is available with compatible hardware and a MicroSD card sold separately. That makes this bundle a better fit for someone who wants inexpensive coverage at the door and inside the home than for someone specifically trying to build a subscription-free security setup.

Amazon Labor Day Deals FAQs

When do Labor Day sales start?

Early Labor Day sales have already started. More retailers are likely to start their own sales leading up to the holiday on Monday, Sept. 7.

What do you think so far?

Are Labor Day sales worth it?

Labor Day has traditionally been a good time to find deals in many categories, but whether they're worth it or not depends entirely on what you're looking for. Compared to sales like Black Friday or Prime Day, Labor Day falls short on volume and quality of discounts, but you might still find a good price on tech or kitchen appliances that will match those holiday prices—or even beat them. (We use price tracking tools to let you know if a deal is worth it or not.)

What other stores have Labor Day sales?

So far, Home Depot, Amazon, and Wayfair have started their early Labor Day sales. Target, Walmart, and Best Buy are likely to follow. (Lifehacker will be rounding up deals for all of these sales.)
