Travel planning and engagement platform Tripism has added a new leisure travel platform for its business travel customers, the company announced.
With the leisure platform, companies can offer special promotions and corporate-negotiated rates to their employees for their personal travel. Tripism founder and CEO Adam Kerr said there was "strong demand" for the platform among clients.
"This demand is a clear signal that companies value employee wellbeing and work-life balance," Kerr said in a statement. "These discounts, negotiated by the corporate travel team, are increasingly recognized as a vital tool to boost employee engagement and retention and support the growing trend for extending business trips to enjoy personal leisure time."
Tripism said the platform also is a way for companies to boost their relationships with suppliers, as they can drive more sales and deeper engagement with the employees.
