Ad Age is hosting its largest Web3 event yet with a two-day summit that will take place in virtual reality and Brooklyn, New York, in May. The conference will be a moment for brands and marketers to learn about advances in computing that are driving innovation in Web3, AI, VR, AR, digital commerce and big data.

On May 9 and 10, the Ad Age Web3 Marketing Summit will gather technology leaders from around the world to speak, and it comes as Ad Age reveals its debut award for Ad Age Web3 Marketing Trailblazers.

Where is the Ad Age Web3 Marketing Summit?

The event will be held in two different locations. The first day, May 9, will be hosted exclusively online, on the Odyssey metaverse platform in the Naturedome. On May 10, the event is in person at ZeroSpace in Brooklyn, located on Butler Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues.

When is the event and what time does it start?

The Web3 Marketing Summit starts with the virtual event on Tuesday, May 9, running from 11 a.m. ET to 4 p.m. ET. On Wednesday, May 10, the in-person event begins at 9 a.m. ET and ends with networking at 3 p.m. ET.

Who is speaking at the Web3 Marketing Summit?

Some of the hottest startup brands in Web3 are coming, including speakers from Doodles, Ready Player Me and ConsenSys. There also are brands: Chipotle, iHeartMedia and Salesforce. Members of the gaming world are on the agenda with Roblox and FaZe Clan. And Web3 tech providers, including SmartMedia Technologies and Obsess, are speaking.

What’s on the agenda?

Day one, in Odyssey’s metaverse space, is all about the future of Web3. Discussions will cover topics such as the importance of gaming in the metaverse. There are panels about how Web3 brands are building a more inclusive, fair and open internet. Brands and marketers will be on hand to discuss their designs for the future and how they are incorporating new technology into their industries and customer relationships.

Day two is about practicality—the technology that exists today that brands need to know about. ConsenSys, the developer of MetaMask, will host a workshop about digital wallets. Obsess has a workshop about virtual commerce and Ready Player Me will help people build avatars. There also will be a moment to meet Ad Age’s Web3 Marketing Trailblazers from across the industry.

There is a friends-and-family rate for people who sign up early. Until April 10, tickets to attend both days of the summit cost $250 per person. After April 10, all-access passes will be $299.

If you can attend only the first day, which is virtual only, tickets cost $55 until April 10. After that, an individual ticket to the virtual event will be $75.
