Blessing Ceremonies Around the World
Empowerment Day is always a very joyful event at Kadampa Centers. With preparations starting weeks ahead, when the big day finally arrives, everyone can feel the unique and blessed energy of the ceremony. In the past days, KMC Stuttgart, KMC Tucson, KMC Victoria, Drolma KBC, and Maitreya KBC had an excellent opportunity to enjoy empowerments organized at their Centers.
On January 29th, the empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa took place at our Kadampa Meditation Center Stuttgart. We received the blessings of wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa into our hearts and had warm-hearted guidance from our Resident Teacher, Gen Lobma, on how to develop compassion, wisdom and spiritual power.
It was a very blessed event, attended by Sangha friends from Karlsruhe and Munich. We cooked together, and everyone enjoyed a lovely day. During the break, we walked and enjoyed each other's company. We are so grateful to Geshe-la for his kindness in making this event possible. We dedicate all the virtues we have accumulated to the welfare and enlightenment of all living beings.
May Dharma flourish in Germany and all over the world.
This February we received the empowerment of Guru Je Tsongkhapa, the Buddha of wisdom.
In the Friday introduction our Resident Teacher, Kelsang Pandita, explained the meaning of the title of the sadhana Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples. On Saturday we received the empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa and we were all filled with great joy and happiness. During the following sessions Kelsang Pandita gave us commentary to the sadhana that he had received from our General Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong.
We all leave full of positive and inspiring energy that will help us benefit others. A wonderful weekend!
February's Buddha Shakyamuni empowerment in Tucson, Arizona, was an opportunity for everyone to receive the special blessings of Buddha. We received teachings on the meaning of the Liberating Prayer to help us develop and maintain deep faith in Buddha. Led by our Resident Teacher, Gen Lingpur, the event was lighthearted and joyful.
KMC Victoria hosted the blessing empowerment of Medicine Buddha, a Buddha Doctor whose function is to release living beings from outer and inner sickness. Our deepest gratitude to our Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe-la, and our Resident Teacher, Gen Zopa, who granted the empowerment. It was a wonderful day, filled with wisdom teachings and the healing blessings of all the Buddhas. Thank you to all who attended.
May everyone who attended the empowerment awaken their potential to become an enlightened healing Buddha.
