Caribtours appoints trade sales manager in newly created role

Luxury tour operator Caribtours has appointed Elaine Jones to the newly created post of trade sales manager for the UK.

Based in the northwest, Elaine will be representing Caribtours across the UK.

Her previous role was in sales and marketing for Bespoke Earth, representing the Ozen Collection. She has also worked as a travel and tourism consultant, and for firms such as ITC Travel Group, North America Travel Service and Kanoo Travel.

Paul Cleary, chief executive, said the creation of the new role “further underlines Caribtours’ commitment to supporting those independent travel agents with whom we work so closely”.

He added: “This position reports into our head of sales, Rebecca Bryson, as we concentrate our efforts to develop new business from luxury travel agents around the UK.

“Elaine has a wealth of experience in luxury travel spanning 30 years, having previously held roles in both hotel representation and luxury tour operating.

“She has extensive knowledge of the Caribtours portfolio and enjoys excellent relationships with the trade – a winning combination.”
