Club Med celebrates preview sales rising 127%

Club Med’s preview sales opening for winter 2024/25 achieved revenues 127% higher than the equivalent event last year.

During last week’s preview, the top-selling ski resorts were Tignes, Val d’Isere and Alpe d’Huez, with December and January being the most popular months booked.

Nicolas Bresch (pictured), Club Med’s managing director for the UK and Nordic countries, said: “In spite of the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, we’re seeing a huge appetite for Brits planning and booking their holidays very early for the next winter season.”

The record-breaking preview was the second year in a row that an improved performance was registered, with last year’s event having secured sales that were 45% up on 2022.

The most popular long-haul destinations this time round were the Seychelles and Miches.

Bresch said: “The success of this sales opening has been a clear testament to the amazing effort put in by our sales and marketing teams as well as our key travel partners.

“We now look ahead and prepare for our main opening for winter 2024/2025 for the rest of our resorts on March 26-30, 2024.”

He added that the preview performance mirrored the findings of the operator’s annual ski report, published in October, which concluded that customers were increasingly opting to book early to secure the best deal for the next season.

Of those who booked last week, 64% were repeat customers.
