How to get the settlement from Delta Airlines

This settlement is for Delta Airlines, who has agreed to pay to settle claims that they breached their ticket contracts by refusing to refund flights that were canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic.

You’re eligible for this Delta Air Lines settlement if you have a Delta ticket that experienced a flight cancellation due to COVID-19 between March 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021. You must have requested a refund for the canceled flight and not receive it, or you must’ve had an unused or partially used credit as of Jan. 13, 2023.

You can either get a cash payment or a credit. The cash payments will refund you for any remaining unused credit; the credit payments will maintain your unused ticket credits with an additional interest of 7% of the original amount. You’ll need proof of your flight information, and the deadline to submit a claim is Sept. 15, 2023.

How to get the settlement from Optimum and Suddenlink

According to the settlement, Optimum and Suddenlink charged hidden fees despite promising a flat rate monthly payment. The total settlement amount is $15 million.

If you’re a customer who was charged a Network Enhancement Fee, Network Access Surcharge, Broadcast Station Programming Surcharge, TV Broadcast Fee, Sports Programming Surcharge, or Regional Sports Network Fee between July 27, 2018, and May 5, 2023, then you’re eligible for this settlement.

You can get between $10 and $27.50. The amounts will vary depending on whether you’re a current or former customer, and which fees you paid. There’s no proof necessary to send a claim. The deadline to file your claim is Sept. 5.

How to get the settlement from TTEC Services Corp. and Health Net

This $2.5 million settlement addresses claims that TTEC Services Corp. and Health Net failed to prevent a data breach that occurred from March to September 2021.

You’re eligible for this settlement if you had your data breached. You can get a payment of $100, as well as breach-related losses or expenses reimbursed up to $5,000. You will need these documented. All class members are also eligible for 36 months of free identity theft protection services. The deadline to submit your claim is Sept. 6, 2023.

How to get the settlement from Hometrust Mortgage

The settlement claims that Hometrust Mortgage failed to prevent a 2022 data breach, which compromised names, contact information, and Social Security numbers for many of their customers.

You’re eligible for this settlement if your personal information was compromised in the July 2022 Hometrust Mortgage data breach. You can receive a reimbursement for any data breach-related cost (there is no specified limit on the settlement). You can also claim up to $400 for lost time at a rate of $40 per hour or opt for a $50 cash payment if you didn’t experience economic losses or lost time. You would also be eligible for one year of free credit monitoring and identity restoration services from Equifax. The deadline to submit your claim is Sept. 11, 2023.

How to get the settlement from Inventure Foods (TGI Friday’s)

Inventure Foods has agreed to a $900,000 settlement, which claims they falsely advertised their TGI Friday’s Mozzarella Sticks Snacks as containing real mozzarella cheese.

You’re eligible for this settlement if you purchased TGI Friday’s Mozzarella Sticks Snacks in the United States, including many different flavors and types, between Jan. 1, 2017, and July 31, 2022. You can claim up to $6 per household, and the compensation is calculated at $0.30 per purchase, with a maximum of 20 eligible products per claim. You must say how many you bought and where you bought them. The deadline to submit a claim is Sept. 25, 2023.

How to get the settlement from Dole

Dole has agreed to pay over $4.3 million in a settlement that claims they falsely advertised their fruit cups as containing “100% juice.”

You’re eligible for this settlement if you bought specific Dole fruit cups mislabeled between Jan. 12, 2017, and June 27, 2023. You can receive a refund of up to $9 without proof of purchase. If you have proof of purchase, you can receive a larger refund of up to $18. The deadline to submit a claim is Sept. 25, 2023.

How to get the settlement from Instagram

This settlement is for Meta, who has agreed to pay $68.5 million after allegations that Instagram violated Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA).

You’re eligible for this settlement if you used Instagram in Illinois between Aug. 10, 2015, and Aug. 16, 2023. You don’t need any proof for this settlement. Every eligible member will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. The deadline to submit a claim is Sept. 27, 2023.

How to get the settlement from Music Direct

Audiophile Music Direct has agreed to settle claims that they falsely advertised some records as produced with “analog-only” methods.

You’re eligible for the Audiophile Music Direct settlement if you purchased and still own new and unused Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MoFi) vinyl records marketed as “Original Master Recording” or “Ultradisc One-Step” from Audiophile Music Direct or other merchants between March 19, 2007 and July 27, 2022. You can receive a full refund of the purchase price if you return your records in their original package. You can also choose to keep your records and get either a 5% refund or a coupon of 10% of your purchase price to be used on Audiophile Music Direct’s retail website. You might need proof of purchase. The deadline to submit your claim is Sept. 21, 2023.
