Edits Gets More Features to Help Manage Your Video Projects
Some more new features for Meta’s video editing app.

The updates keep coming for Meta’s new “Edits” video editing app, though last week’s round of updates was more about managing projects than creating them.
Late last week, IG announced a new round of features for the “Ideas” tab in the app, which are designed to help creators keep track of their inspirations for future projects.
As per Instagram:
“We’ve rolled out new features on the Ideas tab in edits, including the ability to save audio within Ideas, leave sticky notes on audios you want to create with, mark stickies as done, and filter stickies by status (e.g. ‘to-do’, done, or all) or sort by last edited, date created, or color.”
So, as noted, these are more about organization than creation, but they could still be some handy updates either way.
The first element will make it easier to mark stickies as done, which adds strikethrough text on the label display.
That could help in your management of editing tasks, ensuring that you cover off on all the key elements.
Stickies filters meanwhile will make it easier to stay on top of all of your ideas and projects:
And finally, there’s the capacity to mark audios with sticky notes:
So now, when you hear a track that you really want to create with, you can tag it with a note in Edits, so you can come back to it later.
These are handy updates for Edits’ management elements, which will make it easier to keep tabs on your various creative projects.
And with more features coming to Edits every week, it’s fast becoming a must-have tool for all creators, of all kinds, increasing your creative capacity, with a focus on short video clips.
The latest Edits updates are now available in the most recent version of the app.
