Farmer’s Dog takes top slot in USA Today’s Super Bowl ad meter

Second place went to the NFL’s ad “Run With It,” which starred Diana Flores, quarterback of the Mexico women’s national flag football team. Flores is chased throughout the 90-second spot, evading people such as Erin Andrews, Cam Heyward, Aidan Hutchinson, Sauce Gardner, Jalen Ramsey, and even Flores’ mom. The ad scored 6.38 on the scale.
The third spot went to Amazon for another dog-related commercial. The “Saving Sawyer” ad shows a family and their dog, who becomes destructive from loneliness when the family leaves. After enough chewed-up remotes and broken lamps, the family gets a second dog to help keep the first company. The in-house ad earned a rank of 6.35.
