G Touring brands increase recruitment efforts as sales ‘take off’
More roles to fill as former staff return to Travelsphere and Just You
Travelsphere and Just You has bolstered its recruitment drive following record-breaking bookings in January and February.
The sister G Touring tour operators are looking to fill 20 roles in its contact centre and has vacancies in its product and operations, finance, aviation and marketing teams.
G Touring managing director Alastair Campbell said: “Since the start of the year, our Just You and Travelsphere bookings literally took off and show no sign of slowing down.
“On the back of this we have activated the next phase of our recruitment plan to deliver the fastest possible recovery.
“We are so excited to be recruiting for roles across all departments.”
G Touring has employed two product managers; Stuart Perry (pictured, left), who returns having left the company in August 2020 to work in the Civil Service, and Tina Wildman-Mullett (pictured, right), formerly of Trailfinders and Lightfoot Travel.
Two recruits have so far joined the contact centre. Helen Josephs (pictured, middle left) has rejoined G Touring and Annika Raasch (pictured, middle right) has taken a holiday advisor role.
“We’re in the fantastic position of welcoming back former colleagues who have been waiting to return to G Touring and the sector they love,” said Campbell. “Both Stuart and Tina have a huge amount of experience in travel and will be key in developing and expanding the Travelsphere and Just You range of award-winning holidays.”
Travelsphere and Just You are back to operating holidays, with sold out trips already in or departing for St Lucia, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Jordan and across Europe, with Italy, Croatia and Spain currently proving the most popular of its brands’ tours.
“It’s fantastic seeing confidence returning and customers ecstatic again about their overseas holidays,” added Campbell. “We’re on the lookout for committed and passionate people to join us and be part of our exciting restart.”
