Hays Travel recognised among country’s best apprenticeship employers
Agency rewarded with invite to House of Commons for celebratory lunch
Hays Travel has been recognised as the eleventh best apprenticeship employer in England.
The agency chain narrowly missed out on a top-10 position in the table which ranks employers based on their commitment to creating new apprenticeships, the diversity of their apprentices, and their apprentices’ achievements.
All the employers ranked in the top 100 will be invited to a celebratory lunch at the House of Commons later in the year.

First compiled in 2020, the table is produced annually by the Department for Education and High Fliers Research.
Chief operating officer Jonathon Woodall-Johnston said: “This is brilliant news. We have employed apprentices at Hays Travel for over 30 years and are immensely proud of our apprenticeship programme which is at the heart of our commitment to enabling young people to reach their potential.
“I started my own career with Hays Travel as an apprentice so have first-hand experience of how well the programme prepares young people for successful and exciting careers in travel and tourism.
“Our apprentices undertake a rigorous programme of study while earning a salary, gaining valuable on the job experience before achieving a nationally recognised certificate on completion.”
