Hyundai launches made-in-Singapore Ioniq 6 EV
The Ioniq 6 sedan is the second EV Hyundai is producing at its Jurong Singapore Innovation Centre, and two models are priced to enter the EV COE Cat A war!

Hyundai has begun selling its locally assembled Ioniq 6 electric vehicle (EV), the second vehicle the Korean conglomerate is producing at its Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre Singapore (HMGICS) facility in Jurong, which has been assembling the Ioniq 5 EV since early 2023.
HMGICS was announced in 2020 as a multi-function facility for research and development and smart manufacturing. When it goes fully online in 2025, the 28,000 sq m facility will be able to produce up to 30,000 vehicles a year, with about 6,000 vehicles per year for the Singapore market.
Four models of the Ioniq 6 are available in Singapore, with prices ranging from S$192,150 to $244,850, including COE:
Two Standard Range models with 53 kWh batteries, which need a COE Category A. Two Long Range models with 77 kWh batteries, which need a COE Category B.The Ioniq 6 has a new feature for Singapore, with Hyundai finally enabling the Singapore version of Hyundai’s Bluelink Integrated Connected Car Services. The Singapore version of Bluelink includes guidance for sustaining battery health and the ability to cool down the car on a hot day before you step into it.
Hyundai has also added SP Mobility as a destination charging service provider in addition to Charge+.
