Jeezy Claims Jeannie Mai Contacted Their Doctor About Having a Second Child via IVF in New Divorce Docs
The ongoing legal battle between the former couple continues, with new allegations about their family planning coming to light.
Jeannie Mai and Jeezy's ongoing divorce battle continues, with new claims now surfacing about Jeannie's alleged desire to have a second child amid their relationship struggles.
In court documents filed on Thursday in Fulton County, Georgia, obtained by ET, Jeezy claims that the former couple had been attempting to have another baby "naturally for over a year" prior to their split. Together, they are parents to a 2-year-old daughter, Monaco.
Jeezy -- whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins -- further alleges that Jeannie contacted "their same doctor" about pursuing in vitro fertilization, also known as IVF, after he informed her that he "planned to file for divorce" in June 2023. The process of IVF would require Jeezy's permission.
The "All There" rapper also claims that Jeannie's recent allegations of domestic violence and child neglect are "all because [Jeezy] declined to have a second baby with her and [Jeezy] decided to file this divorce action."
According to court documents previously obtained by ET, Mai claimed she suffered physical abuse at the hands of Jeezy over the course of their marriage. In a statement to ET, Jeezy vehemently denied the claims as blatantly "false but also deeply disturbing."
Neither Mai nor her attorneys have yet commented on Jeezy's latest claims or responded to them with docs of their own.

It was Jeezy who filed for divorce in September 2023. He pulled the plug on the marriage more than two years after he and The Real co-host tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 27, 2021.
In court documents, the rapper said he's been separated from his wife, with "no hope for reconciliation," and that they have a prenuptial agreement. He's seeking joint legal and physical custody of their only child, whom they welcomed in January 2022.
