Jet2 increases staff holiday allowance to support mental health
Employees given additional four days off to ‘focus on wellbeing’
Jet2 is giving all staff an additional four days of annual leave this year to support their mental health.
The company said it wants to show gratitude to staff for their “dedication and loyalty” throughout the pandemic, and give them time to focus on their own wellbeing.
The days will be added to staff’s current holiday allowance and must be taken by the end of this year.
A spokesperson said: “We are pleased to supplement all colleagues’ annual leave entitlement with a further four days leave during the 2022 calendar year.
“This will allow them further time to focus on their wellbeing and is a show of our appreciation for their dedication and loyalty throughout such a challenging period.”
The annual leave increase follows last month’s announcement the company has awarded staff a pay rise of 8% and will give them a £1,000 bonus at the end of this summer.
