Jet2 launches VIP charter flight with only business-class seats
The budget airline is offering a premium experience for private customers
Jet2 has launched a new charter experience after configuring a plane with bespoke business-class-style seating.
The British low-cost airline is known for offering flights across Europe, as well as its holiday package counterpart, which is popular among family holidaymakers.
The company also runs a charter service with aircraft unavailable to the everyday passenger.
The Jet2 charter team announced last month the launch of its first-ever aircraft configured with a dedicated business-class layout for its charter passengers. The service will not be available for customers flying on scheduled holiday flights.
Available to book for travel from October 2026 to May 2027, the Boeing 737 will offer 76 business class seats, meaning a minimum of 43 inches of legroom throughout.
These types of planes are usually configured to a 189-seat layout, meaning passengers will get more than double the space the plane usually would provide.
Alongside better comfort and more personal space, the plane will also include upgraded catering, tailored to customer needs.
Trevor Caplis, head of charter and airline sales at Jet2, said: “This is an incredibly exciting development, both for Jet2 and for our charter customers.
“The bespoke configuration of one of our Boeing 737-800NG aircraft so that it features a dedicated business class specification is a genuine game changer and we expect it to be popular with our sports, music, entertainment and specialist group customers.
“As a result of this brand-new product, our charter customers can now enjoy all the usual operational and cost-effective benefits of Jet2, but with the added benefit of a premium charter product too.”
