Jet2 puts over 15m seats on sale for summer 2024
Customers looking to lock in price and spread costs
Jet2 has confirmed summer 2024 expansion with more than 15 million seats now on sale.
Nine new routes have been added as the full programme became available from Birmingham, Manchester and Stansted after Belfast International, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle International last week.
Additional aircraft will be deployed from Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow and Leeds Bradford airports as the operator’s record programme covers 346 routes to 46 destinations.
The programme has been put on sale early following feedback from independent travel agents that their customers are wanting to book well in advance, lock in the price of their holiday now and spread the cost.
Jet2 and Jet2holidayswill operate more than 1,500 weekly flights from ten airports during peak times in summer 2024.
This includes over 200 a week to the Canary Islands, 200 to the Balearic Islands, 300 to 14 destinations in Greece and 200 to Turkey.
New flights for summer 2024 include Stansted to Bourgas in Bulgaria and Tivat in Montenegro.
Bristol gains services to Izmir, Bourgas, Costa de Almeria and Naples.
New East Midlands flights to Crete and Naples are introduced while Newcastle also sees a new route to Crete.
The operator also plans to add a summer 2024 cities programme soon.
Chief executive Steve Heapy said: “Following the positive response from independent travel agents to seven UK bases going on sale last week, we are very pleased to be adding Birmingham, London Stansted and Manchester airports.
“Feedback from our independent travel agent partners has been telling us for some time that customers are wanting to book in advance, as this gives them the opportunity to lock in their price now.
“As always, we have listened and responded accordingly by putting our largest ever summer ’24 sun programme on sale now.”
He added: “With 46 sun destinations on sale across our network of UK bases, we are supporting our independent travel agents by offering them more choice and flexibility than ever before.
“We look forward to revealing further details about our exciting cities programme for summer ’24 very soon and bringing independent travel agents yet more good news.”
