Delta Air Lines has unveiled nose-to-tail new cabins as part of a $1 billion upgrade program that includes a next-generation “Delta One” business class, including roomier main cabin seats, bigger screens and memory foam cushions throughout.

The all-new Delta One suite will launch on new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft in 2027, with passengers set to experience several improvements.

For entertainment, there will be a 24-inch 4K screen (up from 18 inches), plus taller privacy doors, a seat with an integrated "pillow-top" layer for added comfort, wireless charging, and a bigger bed.

The seat increases in size from 80 inches (6-feet 8-inches) in lie-flat mode to 83 inches (6-feet 11-inches).

There will also be a dedicated shoe cubby and a little hook for glasses.

The layout has also been tweaked. In the current Delta One, some window seats actually face the aisle. In the A350-1000, the cabin is configured in a "reverse herringbone" formation, with every window seat angled toward the window.

Further back, movie-watching in Premium Select (premium economy) improves thanks to new 16-inch 4K QLED screens (up from 13.3 inches).

Entertainment is also boosted in Comfort and Main, with screens upgraded from 9-11 inches to 13-inch 4K QLED screens.

Taller passengers, meanwhile, will notice that legroom is bumped up in both cabins by an inch, from 32 to 33 inches in Main and 34 to 35 inches in Comfort.

This bonus knee space is achieved through a new contoured seatback design that eliminates the need to increase the actual row spacing.

There are some multi-cabin milestones, too — Premium Select, Comfort and Main will have memory foam cushions, Bluetooth connectivity will be available front to back, and every seat will feature high-power USB-C ports.

Full cabin upgrades are also coming to Delta’s A330 fleet in December 2026, which will share the A350-1000’s Premium Select, Comfort and Main Cabin improvements, and be retrofitted with a hybrid version of Delta One, which will remain at 80 inches in length in lie-flat mode but feature the new 24-inch screen.

“Every time a customer boards a Delta flight, the experience and surroundings should feel familiar — creating a sense of home and comfort when you’re away,” said Mauricio Parise, vice president of Brand Experience.

“That was the driving factor behind every intentional design feature and investment we made in developing our brand new A350-1000 experience, which we extended through nose-to-tail upgrades of our A330-200/300s and will continue to roll out across our fleet.”
