November On-Time Performance Slipped for N. American Carriers
Of the eight carriers that made the list, only Southwest Airlines, which came in third, showed a slight month-over-month improvement.

Average North American airline on-time performance in November slipped a few percentage points to 76.4 percent, down from 79.5 percent in October, according to Cirium's monthly report. It was the first dip since June 2022.
Of the eight carriers that made the list, only Southwest Airlines, which came in third, showed a slight month-over-month improvement, to 80.2 percent from 80 percent. The rest declined in performance. Still, Delta Air Lines took the top spot, at 86.2 percent, followed by United Airlines at 84.5 percent.

For November global on-time performance, Delta and United remained at third and fifth, respectively. American Airlines (79.6 percent) dropped off the top 10 after it had been ninth in October.
The report also showed year-over-year growth of 9.27 percent in the number of flights completed.
A flight is considered on time if the aircraft arrives at the gate within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time.
