Travel spending analytics platform Oversee has added hotel rate benchmarking and auditing to its services, expanding from its air sourcing capabilities, the company announced.
Oversee's Hotel Sourcing Optimization tool was designed as "a more efficient way to track and recover lost hotel savings," Oversee CEO and co-founder Aviel Siman-Tov said in a statement. It audits rates, monitors supplier compliance and benchmarks a company's performance against their peers via Oversee's AI platform and global industry database, the company said.
With that, travel buyers can "make smarter, data-driven hotel sourcing decisions, while ensuring they receive the rates they were promised," according to Siman-Tov. "With real-time insights, program managers can immediately identify and recover lost hotel savings, resolving supplier issues before they amount to large sums."
Formerly known as FairFly, Oversee already had branched out into the hotel space a few years ago with a reshopping and benchmarking tool. It launched AI-powered tools to audit air contracts and benchmark airfares last summer, and it also recently released an agent AI tool.
