‘Prime location’ for new Hays Travel shop in Leeds
Briggate branch will be ninth in the city and suburbs
Hays Travel is preparing for the ‘soft launch’ opening of its Briggate branch in Leeds on Tuesday (December 5), followed by an official opening on January 11, 2024.
It is located opposite the prestigious Victoria Quarter and luxury department store Harvey Nichols.
The store will be Hays Travel’s ninth branch in and around Leeds.
The existing Hays Travel shops in The Merrion Centre, Leeds White Rose and Leeds Crossgate shopping centres, plus the suburbs of Horsforth, Garforth, Rothwell, Pudsey, and Morley, will all continue trading.
Shaun Moremon, Briggate’s branch manager who is relocating from Wales, said: “I am really excited to be a part of the opening of our new flag-ship store in Leeds and meeting all our customers.

“I have 20 years of experience in retail travel under my belt, with 13 of these in the role of branch manager and I am also a cruise expert.
“I am looking forward to ensuring that our Leeds city centre customers are well looked after, with great recommendations to get them the best pre- and post-holiday experience in our new store.”
It is estimated the branch create 10 new roles.
