The Brown family is trying to move on as best they can.
On Tuesday, TLC dropped the trailer for the highly-anticipated upcoming season of Sister Wives. The trailer starts off strong, with Meri Brown officially declaring that her marriage to Kody Brown is over, Christine Brown introducing the world to her boyfriend and now-husband, David Woolley, Janelle Brown trying to part with the shared land she has with Kody, and Robyn Brown trying to live with the new reality that she no longer has sister wives.
Kody is also having a hard time dealing with all of the change as he declares, "What did I do to deserve this? What did I do wrong?"
The communication between Kody and his ex-wives remains icy. Janelle can't get through to him about selling their shared property, and tells Christine that she may have to "lawyer up" if her estranged husband continues to ignore her.
Meri also has a hard time conveying the feelings and reasons for her split with Kody, who declares that he didn't love her at the start of their relationship nearly three decades ago.
Robyn is the only wife who has chosen to stay with Kody, and now the two are navigating life as a monogamous couple.
"I feel like the idiot who got left behind," Robyn says.
Although Kody compares the family's dynamic to a "total civil war," they come together for a celebration, where Christine officially introduces everyone to David.
Taking a page from Christine's book, Meri has one mission. "I need to find a man," she exclaims.
Kody and Janelle sit down for a conversation where he tells her that he feels like they can make things work, but her mind is already made up and the damage to their relationship has been done.
"We've had so many conversations where I said, 'It's done, we're done. We're not compatible,'" she says.
Amid everything going on, Kody has one message for the women who don't believe he had love for them. "Blame yourself if I don't love you, OK," he says.
According to an official press release for the upcoming season of Sister Wives, viewers will also see the family come together to mourn the loss of Kody and Janelle's son, Garrison, who died at the age of 25 after committing suicide.
A new season of Sister Wives premieres Sunday, Sept. 15 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
