TGV launches bed cinemas with Coway’s smart mattresses, tickets start at RM120

A new cinema experience just dropped and it might be one of the comfiest ones yet. It’s called INDULGE Coway BEREX, and it’s exclusively offered at TGV Cinemas.

Malaysian cinema chain TGV Cinemas has partnered up with Coway BEREX to unveil their “bed cinema” that comes equipped with smart mattresses.

The two businesses signed an official memorandum of understanding on November 14 to mark the commencement of this collaboration.

Now, you might be wondering, isn’t Coway the water and air purifier brand? It sure is, but it has also launched BEREX, a range of creations under Coway that pioneer new innovations in rest and relaxation.

BEREX encompasses massage beds, massage chairs, and of course, the smart mattresses that are featured in TGV.

The smart mattresses used in TGV’s bed cinemas will allow guests to adjust settings for firmness and posture according to their personal comfort preferences.

Additionally, the mattresses provide muscle relief and stretching functions, adding a therapeutic dimension to the movie-watching experience.

This combination of customisable comfort and health-focused technology brings a new level of innovation and luxury to the cinematic experience.

During the event, the product showcase also emphasised the bedpods’ bespoke design, tailored for optimal viewing and dining comfort while ensuring privacy.

When, where, and how much is it?

INDULGE Coway BEREX is now offering movie-goers their luxe experience at a price of RM120 per ticket—a figure that they deem as “competitive”.

Comparing these prices to Aurum Theatre’s Gethá Lux Suite (RM350 for twin-seats), it does seem like TGV’s offerings are slightly more affordable.

Moreover, the price includes culinary delights—a meal, a drink, and a dessert.

Currently, the menu options include Chicken Lasagne, Roasted Chicken and Vegetables, Chicken Sausage and Mash Potato, Baked Perch and Roasted Carrots, and Vegetarian Chicken Ragout with Fusilli.

TGV recommends arriving early to choose your dish at the INDULGE counter. And if you have spare time before the movie starts, there’s a private lounge for INDULGE guests as well.

Aside from Suria KLCC, this innovative bed cinema experience will also be available TGV Pavilion Bukit Jalil, TGV Sunway Velocity, and TGV 1 Utama.

As of today (November 15), tickets for all of the mentioned locations are already available online on the TGV website.
