Tour America, Cruise Holidays and The Travel Suite appoint training manager

Sister brands Tour America, Cruise Holidays and The Travel Suite have appointed Neasa McHugh as training and development manager.

McHugh worked for Tour America from 1995-2009, holding various roles including sales consultant, training manager and sales and marketing director, as well as managing director for Cruise Holidays.

She then worked in hospitality and recruitment before becoming a yoga teacher, leading wellness retreats around the world.

Managing director for Tour America, Cruise Holidays and The Travel Suite, Mary McKenna, said McHugh is “uniquely positioned” in her new role to integrate her history in sales, marketing and training with her experience as a yoga teacher, and the “synergy will pave the way for the development of innovative wellness holidays within the company”.

Her position is also “critical” in supporting the company’s plan to restructure the business within the next few years, she said.

“We are thrilled to welcome Neasa McHugh back to our family of brands in this new capacity,” said McKenna.

“Her deep-rooted history with Tour America and Cruise Holidays combined with her expertise in wellness will undoubtedly elevate our training and development initiatives and bring a fresh perspective to our offerings.”
