Trade sales open for two new A-Rosa ships
Vessels to sail on Rhine and Moselle from April 2024
Sales have opened for agents to book two new A-Rosa ships which enter service next spring.
The 138-passenger A-Rosa Alea and 140-passenger A-Rosa Clea will run itineraries covering the northern and southern Rhine and the Moselle from April.
At 110 metres, the two vessels are shorter than the company’s other vessels on the Rhine, allowing them to sail directly into the heart of some ports.
Seven-night cruises will operate until October 2024, when shorter five- and four-night options are then offered before moving onto Christmas markets and festive options.
A-Rosa Alea will start the season on April 5 with seven-night sailings from Cologne calling at Rudesheim, Speyer, Breisach, Basel, Strasbourg, Mainz plus the Loreley passage via Koblenz.
A-Rosa Clea will also depart from Cologne, travelling north to the Netherlands with calls at Willemstad, Ghent, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Hoorn and Nijmegen, including an optional excursion to Keukenhof Gardens during its spring tulip festival.
Both ships will alternate between seven-night itineraries on either the Moselle, southern Rhine or northern Rhine from early May.
Prices lead-in at £899 per person for five nights in October and £1,049pp for seven nights in April on a premium all-inclusive basis, including flights from Heathrow.
UK & Ireland managing director Lucia Rowe said: “We have some amazing launch prices for our two new fleet additions, offering customers fantastic value for money.
“Alongside the week-long options, the four- and five-night cruises will cater for the growing demand for shorter trips.
“However, our introductory offers have limited availability so now really is a brilliant time for agents to promote our river cruises, both to those who haven’t tried it before and those who would like to try A-Rosa’s flexible and relaxed offering.”
