Unforgettable Travel Group creates head of global sales role

The Unforgettable Travel Group has restructured its senior management team, recruiting David Stone to a new head of global sales role and creating a client services division.

Stone (pictured) starts on September 4, having previously held sales roles at Ten Lifestyle Group and Abercrombie & Kent.

He will be responsible for managing the growing sales teams in the UK and US. He will also oversee trade partnerships, coordinating the launch of the Unforgettable travel agent portal and a new online trade learning centre.

As part of the restructure, Julian Pearl, the current head of sales and customer services, is moving to create and lead a new client services division to serve the trade and customers.

Pearl has been with Unforgettable for five years, having previously worked at Olympic Holidays.

Among other responsibilities, the new division will oversee the management of a new agent loyalty programme called the Unforgettable Club.

Graham Carter, chief commercial officer at Unforgettable Travel Group, said: “Our business is going through a period of significant growth, with a goal to reach turnover in excess of £40 million by 2025.

“This restructure brings the company headcount to 47, bolstering our senior management team, while bringing luxury travel sector experience to the table.”

Stone said: “I look forward to joining the Unforgettable Travel Group at a time when the company has aggressive growth plans in place and is making significant investment to achieve its goals.

“I bring a strong background in luxury travel to the role, which will help deliver our ambitious growth plans.”
