Tourism board thanks trade for ‘remarkable contribution’ promoting country
Visit Malta has hosted a series of brunch events to celebrate National Travel Agent Day.
The tourism board welcomed agents to three locations in London and one in the Midlands on July 20 to thank them for their “remarkable contributions” in promoting Malta within the UK and Ireland markets.
Agents also had the opportunity to enter a competition to win a place on the Malta Academy, an exclusive annual trip to the country.
Tolene van der Merwe (pictured), director Visit Malta UK & Ireland, said: “We wanted to celebrate the incredible talent and unwavering dedication of travel agents in the UK.
“We recognise the vital role they play in connecting travellers with our enchanting destination and ensuring unforgettable experiences.”
