Henry Stiles, Kate Moss, and David Beckham have all stayed at the Fassano. I would have loved to have checked it out, but we were at another choice Rio Hotel at the Sol Ipanema.

It has multiple pools, a spa, a fitness center, and restaurants making the Sheraton the perfect retreat from busy Rio. The newly redesigned pool area was under construction when we were there, but now you can enjoy a dip in the outdoor pool surrounded by a tropical landscape.
There are several restaurant choices including French cuisine at L’Etoile, Casarão Restaurant, Bene Restaurant, Casa da Cachaça, at the pool area.
