World Travel Promotes King to President
Oklahoma-based World Travel has promoted EVP Matt King to president of the travel management company, and the previous president, Alex Eaton, has moved to the newly created role of CEO, the company announced.


Oklahoma-based World Travel has promoted EVP Matt King to president of the travel management company, and the previous president, Alex Eaton, has moved to the newly created role of CEO, the company announced this week.
King, who has been with World Travel—which is based in Tulsa and has offices in Oklahoma City and Austin—for 17 years, and he now is taking on expanded responsibilities across all the operations for the TMC. Eaton, World Travel's majority owner who has served as its president since 2004, will now focus on strategic initiatives for the company, including expanding its vacation department.
King's promotion to president became effective on Tuesday, according to World Travel.
