Apparently, Wendy’s really wants to get your attention this month and make you forget all about your health-related New Year’s resolutions. Earlier this week, they started giving out $1 BOGO chicken sandwiches. Now, Wendy’s is giving out free French fries for a week. Mark these days on your calendar so you can take advantage of the deal.
How to get free Wendy’s French fries for a week
Starting Friday, Jan. 13, whenever you make an order through the Wendy’s app, you will get a free order of French fries. The deal will run from Friday until Jan. 19. You should be able to add the fries from “offers” in the rewards section of the app.
Since you’ll already be in the app, you might want to check out the free small chili with purchase deal, or the “welcome offer” of a free 10-piece nugget with a purchase. (You can’t mix the deals, though.)
Wendy’s new fries got a facelift
Wendy’s French fries used to get a lot of criticism for being among the worst fries in the fast-food hierarchy. Many people claimed they were too soggy and overly salty. But in late 2021, Wendy’s announced its new Hot & Crispy Fries, and a review from Uproxx gave a more favorable review to the new variety:
These aren’t McDonald’s good but I struggle to think of a second fast food French fry that is better. Wendy’s French fries jumped up from being forgettable to essential and that’s a win for everyone. Skip the third-party delivery, but if you’re in the drive-thru they’re a must.
