If you’re looking for the perfect weekend away, look no further than Barcelona. From rooftop drinks, to up-all-night partying, this blog has you covered!
See the sights!
There is so much to do in Barcelona. On your weekend away, take in the sights and soak in the Catalan culture for yourself:
Casa Batlló
Starting your tour off at Casa Batlló, take in the gorgeous exterior of one of Gaudí’s true masterpieces. This beautiful location is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and widely celebrated for its beauty. We recommend entering the house and exploring the Gaudí Cube, by artist Refik Anadol. This art installation transports you to another world with a 360-degree experience of pure colour and light. This pioneering exhibit is not one to miss!
While on the Passeig de Gràcia, why not stop to do some shopping? This famous avenue is one of the world’s most luxurious, with numerous designer brands such as Prada and Dior opening their doors to Barcelona locals and shopaholic tourists alike. Perfect for a fun-filled trip.
Address: Passeig de Gràcia, 43, 08007, Barcelona
Sagrada Familia
After looking around one of Gaudí’s masterpieces, why not marvel at yet another? The Sagrada Familia is an iconic Barcelonan landmark that you won’t easily forget. This breath-taking building towers high above the city’s skyline. Its astounding architecture makes it the most visited monument in Spain– completely unique and incomparable.

Parc de la Ciutadella and lunch in El Born
From the Sagrada Familia, take a walk to the Parc de la Ciutadella. This oasis of calm in amongst the city metropolis is a simply beautiful excursion. Located near El Born, your lunch options are endless. This bohemian neighbourhood is home to some pretty amazing restaurants. We recommend stopping at Café Kaska, specialising in seafood. Oysters and champagne for lunch? What could be better!
Address: Carrer de la Fusina, 7, 08003, Barcelona
Wander through the Gothic quarter
This quarter has an old, authentic feel to it due to its deep historical past. Its medieval alleys and Roman architecture are what make this neighbourhood utterly unique. Take a walking tour here or simply visit the Museum of History, to truly soak in the atmosphere for yourself.
Drinks on the Ohla Barcelona rooftop terrace
Sunset views and a historical backdrop: The Ohla Barcelona rooftop terrace is the perfect place to rest your feet after a long day of sightseeing. This stunning location provides a breath-taking setting to enjoy cocktails and tapas as the sun sets over the city.
Address: Via Laietana, 49, 08003, Barcelona

Party the night away in Pacha
What better way to top off the weekend in one of the best nightclubs in the world? Pacha is one of our top recommendations for where to dance the night away with your friends. Located in Barceloneta in front of the sea, this club has housed some of the world’s top party-goers, all looking for a good time.
