Airlines and operators reveal Black Friday offers

Another tranche of airlines and tour operators released special discounts and offers this week, ahead of the Black Friday sale day on November 26.

Several holiday companies announced their Black Friday deals early, at the start of this week, and cruise lines unveiled a range of discounts on Wednesday (November 24).

New announcements include easyJet holidays, which launched its Black Friday deals on Wednesday (November 24), offering savings of up to £200 per booking on package holidays with a minimum spend of £2,000, or £100 with a minimum spend of £700.

Agents can apply the £100 saving using code BLACKFRIDAY100 and the £200 saving using code BLACKFRIDAY200 at checkout.

The code is valid on all holidays departing from December 6, 2021, to October 31, 2023.

Escorted tours specialist Travelsphere has launched its biggest Black Friday sale, with savings of up to £500 per couple on hundreds of tours departing before July 31, 2022.

Launched on Wednesday (November 24), the sale will end on December 3.

The savings of up to £500 per couple are available on long-haul tours, while discounts of £200 per couple are on offer for European trips for departures before July 31, 2022.

Cosmos and sister brand Globus have unveiled discounts for their Black Friday promotion, which runs from November 23-30.

The sale offers discounts worth an extra £100 per couple on Cosmos’ Europe tours in 2022, while there are savings of an extra £140 per couple with Globus’ European range.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, will feature discounts during the Black Friday weekend, with economy fares from £299 for flights from London to Dubai.

Its sale runs from November 26-30, for travel between November 26, 2021, to March 26, 2022.

Elsewhere, Jet2.com has launched a ski promotion, offering 22kg of ski carriage for half price to all eight of its ski resorts.

It applies to new bookings made until December 6, for departures between December 2021 and April 2022.

It means skiers can save £30, as the price is normally £60 on return journeys.
