Airport Operators Association adopts AirportsUK branding
Trade body also unveils new website as it marks 90th anniversary
The Airport Operators Association has adopted the trading name of AirportsUK, along with a new logo to accompany it.
The change comes during the organisation’s 90th anniversary year and was first announced at its anniversary gala dinner in March.
AirportsUK has also unveiled a revamped website with the new logo and a more modern look (pictured), which it says is easier to navigate.

The association said the new website will play a “key role” in communicating the work AirportsUK is undertaking on behalf of its membership and to the public, “to deliver a stable, sustainable and affordable aviation sector”.
Karen Dee, AirportsUK’s chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be able unveil this new brand, which is something the whole organisation and our membership are excited to be a part of.
“It comes at a time when airports and aviation more generally are working hard to deliver sustainable growth, to reduce their impacts on communities and to be seen as the positive drivers of economic prosperity they are.
“We hope that people will see that in our new logo and name, that airports are facing the future, and contributing to all our lives in a clear, optimistic way.”
AirportsUK represents the views of more than 50 UK airports to government, parliament and regulators “to secure policy outcomes that help deliver its mission”.
