Ambassador Cruise Line to join Tipto
Cruise line hopes to boost trade ties
Ambassador Cruise Line has become the latest member of Tipto as it seeks to boost its presence in the trade.
The cruise line will join the trade marketing association for the start of its 25th year in September. Other suppliers also set to join the association, which currently has 20 members, include USAirtours, Yalago and DriveAway.
The cruise line offers adult-only cruise experiences with multi-generational itineraries. It has two ships, Ambience and Ambition, which depart from eight regional ports to more than 60 countries worldwide.
Head of distribution Nicola Harper said product knowledge was key and the main reason for joining Tipto.
She said: “Our trade team is committed to supporting Ambassador’s valued agent partners and this membership is another way of achieving this aim.
“Our mission is to give every agent the knowledge to be ambassadors for Ambassador Cruise Line, and we cannot wait to attend the nationwide roadshows and meet our agent friends.”
Tipto chairman Richard Forde said: “Ambassador Cruise Line brings a complimentary cruise product to our already strong cruise offering. We’re excited to be able to support the trade team with their goals of increasing agent knowledge, building key relationships and of course converting those all-important sales.”
